Analogue and Digital composition of the microscopic plankton  diatoms., mixed with seaweed of larger scale. This image was in and out to the computer  The image evolved over multiple iterations of print, hand drawing and painting, physical collage and digital collage. Thanks to Susanne Menden-Deuer and the  Menden-Deuer lab at the University of  Rhode Island, Graduate School of Oceanography for imagery and knowledge of plankton.
